From the beginning, Lifeline Ambulance C.I.C. has been driven by the interests and involvement of our incredible and engaged community members. We are a growing Community Interest Company (C.I.C.) Our focus is on providing a source of service delivery ensuring our service users safety is paramount.

We are not regulated by the Care Quality Commission as we do not deliver regulated care. All our volunteers give up their precious time to drive those members of our communities to shops and appointments such as Chiropody or even just to socialise to friends and families homes or cafes.

We require further support from local companies and organisations to enable our team to continue to volunteer and offer valuable support to the local and wider communities.

Helping Tameside Residents get Home.

As many people who have been unfortunate enough to be admitted to hospital, the

Volunteers and patients from Lifeline Ambulance

problem of getting home when ready for discharge can be a daunting one. Lifeline Community Ambulance C.I.C. have been delivering a take home service for those being discharged home.

Since December 2022 in just under three months 148 patients have used the services of the locally based volunteers to get home safely.

The fleet of transport keeps growing to accommodate the needs of those requiring the services.
